Pat Leahy – BSC Sports Science, ACSM, YMCA Pat Leahy a professional Ironman triathlon coach and athlete, has been coaching for over fifteen years - specialising in performance enhancement. Through the years in this field Pat has been recognised as a specialist in Athletic Preparation in many sports in the UK, US and Australia and has personal trained a number of celebrities in the fashion and music industries. Now Pat heads up his multi-sport company Pro-Vo2 and is considered an expert in metabolic testing for fat loss and performance coaching for cyclists & triathletes.

Having lived both in Boulder, Colorado and the Gold Coast, Australia he has worked with most of the world's leading coaches, sharing & developing training methodologies to coach a wide range of athletes from beginner's to professional athletes. Pat's approach is to look scientifically at the physical, mental, nutritional and equipment considerations, when working with an athlete to help them achieve success.

Pat is currently helping develop free athlete training software with Bace2Race, health screening with London's leading Sports Med practice and continues coaching any athlete looking to improve their fitness.

Professor Adam Carey - BSc MBBChir DFFP MRC Fel, MRCOG CCST Adam is the nutritional expert and co-presenter for ITV's Celebrity Fit Club and Sky One's Change the Day you Die. He has 19 years experience in the NHS, having trained to consultant level inO&G with a sub-specialist interest in reproductive endocrinology and nutrition. He advises many groups of elite athletes and celebrities, including Premiership football teams and the England Cricket Board. He writes extensively for consumer magazines and has been published widely.

Lynn Clay - Maxitone nutrition expertLynn Clay is a sports scientist, nutrition consultant and freelance journalist with eight years experience in the Nutrition Industry. A former AAA Gold medalist runner (10 miles 1998) and keen cyclist, she is a much sought after expert authority on diet and exercise and provides regular editorial contributions to UK fitness and sports magazines including 'Running Fitness', 'Cycling Weekly' , 'Health & Fitness for Cyclists', 'Cycle Active' and 'Women's Running'. She has also appeared on 'Wedding TV', 'Capital Radio' and 'BBC London' Radio, has written for 'The Times' and has worked on event preparation and body transformation projects with Health and Fitness Magazine and The Sunday People.

Also providing practical advice to professional sports people, fitness professionals, health care specialists, novice to national level athletes and sports teams, and active men and women through her personal consultancy, Lynn knows what it takes to perform at your best. Lynn is also currently continuing her study in the area of Nutritional Medicine.

Penny Comins

Penny CominsEight time Ironman athlete, Penny has competed all over the world from New Zealand to America and Europe. The British based Kiwi, has also finished 15 marathons and one ultra distance. She holds a Masters in Science and is a freelance writer for UK fitness and sports magazines including Cycling Weekly, Cycling Active, Health & Fitness for Cyclists, 220 Triathlon, Runners World and Running Fitness. In her ninth attempt at the iron distance of 226 kilometers, Penny is chasing the elusive World Championship spot.

 

 

Paul Mill – British Cycling Level 3 Coach and UK specialist in Dynamic bike-fitting

Paul MillPaul Mill has not only been a Professional triathlete but also a Semi Professional cyclist. His success includes winning over one hundred races and competing in more than ten countries. He is regarded as one of the most knowledgeable Cycling coaches in the country and is currently one of the very few who hold a level 3 road and time trial qualification as well as a Diploma in Sports Psychology. For the past ten years he has been a Cycle fitness consultant to London and North West ambulance services and a fitness assessor to the London Bike hire scheme.
